Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to develop, design, and improve products, systems, and components. The ideal candidate will combine engineering principles with design expertise to create innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product designs and engineering solutions based on project requirements.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using design software.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project management.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documentation, and reports.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback into final designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
• Provide technical support during production and implementation phases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in engineering design (depending on role level).
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, Inventor, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Experience in product development and design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Professional engineering certification is a plus.
