CURRENT CHALLENGES
Dust Intensity
Amount of dust on solar panel was extensively high as most of the solar panels were not cleaned for more than 20 days. And few of the tables were not cleaned for more than 35 days

Water Scarcity
Due to the limited resources of water, it is difficult and time‐consuming process to clean solar panels without water.
Spots due to water droplets
When panels are cleaned with water spray and the residual water is not wiped after spraying, dust particles sticks with solar module glass.

“Uncleaned solar panels leads to loss in energy generation by 10-30%”

RESULTS
1. After cleaning the solar modules, comparing with the clear sky generation of January 25 with regular wet cleaning and clear sky generation of February 25, 2020 with Taypro Semi-Automatic Robotic Solar Panel Dry Cleaning, generation has been improved from 8095.4 kWh (Irradiance 1033 W/m2) to 11072.2 kWh (1065 W/m2) -Energy Generation increased by approximately 26% with global irradiance increase of 3% (PGIS Data) .
2. Generation Readings by Inverter on 25th February 2020
a. Inverter 1: 10858.2 kWh
b. Inverter 2: 10533.8 kWh
c. Inverter 3: 11072.2 kWh
3. 3 liters of water is was used earlier to clean 1 solar module. Hence, 26160 Liters of water is saved for cleaning of 8720 Modules.
