Job Description – Welder (ARC & CO₂ Welding)

Department: Production

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible for performing ARC and CO₂ (MIG) welding, assembling metal components as per drawings, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ARC and CO₂ (MIG) welding.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Assemble and fit metal components.
• Inspect weld quality and carry out necessary corrections.
• Operate welding tools safely.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
• Complete assigned work within the specified time.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI Welder or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in ARC and CO₂ welding and assembly work.

Skills

• ARC & CO₂ (MIG) welding.
• Drawing reading.
• Knowledge of welding safety and quality standards.
